| Abstract | An International Symposium on Equatorial Aeronomy was held in Peru, September 18-26, 1962; its results were published in May Ist, 1963, issue of the Journal of Geophysical Research. A Second International Symposium on Equatorial Aeronomy will be held in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, during the period September 6-17, 1965. Accommodation and ali facilities are bcing provided by the Brazilian "Comissão Nacional de Atividades Espaciais" (CNAE) at São José dos Campos in São Paulo. The International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (I.A.G.A.) of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (I.U.G.G.) has agreed to sponsor the meeting and the International Scientific Radio Union (U.R.S.I.) is also considering the possibility of sponsoring the Symposium. |
