Abstract | Plasma impedance measurements have been carried out in a vacuum-arc centrfuge. The cathode materials used in the measurements were: Magnesium (Mg), Zinc (Zn), Cadmium (Cd) and Lead (Pb). The measured plasma impedance is in the range 30-40m for various values of the cathode voltage and axial magnetic field. Based of these values, a LC network has been constructed with matched to the plasma impedance. |
