Besides of being a measure of regularity, this operator permits to quantify the degree of phase disorder associated with a given gradient field. An application of GEF to the analysis of the gradient pattern dynamics of a logistic Coupled Map Lattice is presented. Simulations using a Gaussian and random initial condition, provide interesting insights on the system gradual transition from order/symmetry to disorder/randomness. %8 Aug. %N 1-2 %T Generalized complex entropic form for gradient pattern analysis of spatio-temporal dynamics %K COMPUTER SCIENCE, Entropy, Gradients, Patterns, Generalized complex entropic form, COMPUTAÇÃO APLICADA, Entropia, Gradientes, Padrões, Forma entropica complexa generalizada. %@secondarytype PRE PI %@group LAC-INPE-MCT-BR %@copyholder SID/SCD %@secondarykey INPE-12299-PRE/7618 %@issn 0378-4371 %2 sid.inpe.br/iris@1916/2005/04.07.12.43.48 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais, Laboratório Associado Computação e Matemática Aplicada (INPE.LAC), %@project Análise e simulação de sistemas complexos %@language English %P 171-174 %4 sid.inpe.br/iris@1916/2005/04.07.12.43 %D 2000 %V 283 %A Ramos, Fernando Manuel, %A Rosa, Reinaldo Roberto, %A Rodrigues Neto, Camilo, %A Zanandrea, Ademilson, %@area COMP
