A 1020 keV beam with equivalent neutral beam current of 0.1 mA is injected. Light emission from the injected beam by electron impact excitation (LiI/670.8 nm) is collected by an eight-channel detector system using optical band-pass .lters and Avalanche Photodiodes. The injection beam line is mechanically tilted to cover the area two-dimensionally. The total system has been calibrated by injecting the beam into the helium-gas-.lled CHS vacuum chamber. Detailed measurements of twodimensional structure of edge and divertor region are expected to contribute to studies of helical divertor concept and to improve understanding of the role of edge plasmas on core confinement as well. %T Two-dimensional diagnostics of edge and divertor region of toroidal helical plasmas using a lithium beam probe %@electronicmailaddress nkiichi@nifs.ac.jp %@electronicmailaddress %@electronicmailaddress ueda@plasma.inpe.br %K LiBP, two-dimensional diagnostics, divertor region, CHS. %@secondarytype PRE PI %@usergroup administrator %@usergroup marciana %@group %@group %@group LAP-INPE-MCT-BR %@copyholder SID/SCD %@secondarykey INPE-10337-PRE/5838 %@issn 0022-3115 %2 sid.inpe.br/marciana/2004/01.15.10.06.25 %@affiliation The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Japan %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %@affiliation National Institute for Fusion Science, Japan %B Journal of Nuclear Materials %@versiontype publisher %P 725-728 %4 sid.inpe.br/marciana/2004/01.15.10.06 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2003 %V 313-316 %@doi 10.1016/S0022-3115(02)01488-5 %A Nakamura, K., %A Iguchi, H., %A Ueda, Mário, %A Morisaki, T., %A Isobe, M., %A Ida, K., %A Takahashi, C., %A Okamura, S., %A Matsuoka, K., %@dissemination WEBSCI %@area FISPLASMA
